About The School of Social Work
The Louis & Gabi Weisfeld School of Social Work at Bar Ilan University, founded in 1966, combines universal and eternal Jewish moral values with advanced intervention methods and innovative research. By providing its students with the various professional intervention methods, the School trains them to work with individuals, families, groups, organizations, neighborhoods and communities. Among the School faculty are distinguished researchers and professionals known nationally and internationally for their theoretical, research, and clinical knowledge. Our graduates qualify for recognition as professional social workers, and many serve in senior positions in welfare organizations, government, non-profit organizations and in the academia .
