School of Social Work

Social work deals with improving personal and social functioning of the individual, the family and the community and is based on a social humanist worldview. The work of social workers includes a human encounter in the natural environment of man. Social workers are drawn to the field out of a desire to improve the world through caring and compassion towards people in general and towards vulnerable and excluded populations in particular.
