Dr. Yael Waksman

Yael Mann Waksman, Esq., PhD., is a senior attorney at MARVA. Prior to joining MARVA, Dr. Mann Waksman worked as an attorney at Yad Riva - legal aid for the elderly. She specializes in issues related to guardianship, legal capacity, inheritance law, and other areas of concern regarding at-risk elderly people and people with disabilities.

Dr. Waxman directs the legal clinic for at-risk elderly and Holocaust survivors that MARVA runs in cooperation with the Academic Center of Law and Science in Hod Hasharon.

She received her doctorate from Hebrew University’s Faculty of Law in 2018. Her doctoral thesis focused on Perpetual Trusts and Succession Law. In addition to her work at MARVA, Dr. Waxman is a lecturer at the Faculty of Law at Hebrew University and at the Social Work School of the Hadassah College in Jerusalem.
